Evening stargazing experiences feature hands on access to telescopes and generous time with expert astronomers in Australia's best equipped public observatory, including the largest telescope for public access in the southern hemisphere.
Gingin Observatory is situated next to the Gravity Discovery Centre amongst a stunning display of wildflowers, pristine bushland and kangaroos on Wallingup Plain only one hour from Perth.
A stargazing night is an amazing way to end a delightful day trip from Perth to the Gingin area. There is nothing like the southern hemisphere night sky.
A variety of special events that feature astronomical highlights are held throughout the year and specially arranged group bookings for children, primary and high school classes, scout clubs, corporate events, car clubs, seniors groups and international visitors are welcome.
