Picture it, sitting on the verandah of an old style rammed earth and jarrah timber winery set into the hillside, surrounded by nature at its picturesque best. Grape vines, a hay crop and quiet chirping of of the resident bird life all offer the backdrop of peace and serenity. Couple this with the latest chardonnay and
perhaps a ploughman's lunch or a savoury platter and you have the perfect excuse to escape for the day.
Located just 120 km south of Perth is Wandering Brook Estate (formerly known as Redhill Estate) in the Peel wine region of Western Australia's Greater Perth area. The pleasant one hour drive along the Albany Highway will bring you to the heart of Wandering, a small rural community. Wandering Brook Estate Vineyard was established in 1989 and the winery was built in 1994, initially to be a hobby for local farmers Laurie and Margaret White.
