Sinclair Wines is located in Glenoran, in the Manjimup wine region of Western Australia's South West.
John Healy and Darelle Sinclair established Sinclair Wines in 1994.
Keen to do things right John and Darelle went back to school. This was just as well because at that time there were no consultants around Manjimup. The one that came over from Margaret River must have been a flatlander. He said that even though we had wonderful soil and water our land was too steep and we should sell it!
Darelle graduated as a viticulturist from Charles Sturt University and has the unique Master of Business in Wine Marketing coordinated by Steve Charters MW at Edith Cowan University. John's Diploma of Wine Marketing was begun at famous Roseworthy Agricultural College that later became part of the University of Adelaide.
Since then Sinclair has become very much a family enterprise with even Stumpy the family dog being part of the Marketing action
