.....In Margaret River..... on the 4th Saturday of every month, locals and visitors alike gather together for a feast of freshness..... at the Margaret River Farmers' Markets (See the News page for the latest on the Farmers Market).
The markets feature food and wine stalls manned by the producers themselves.....It's a perfect opportunity to re-stock your supplies and to match the South West's freshest produce with wine releases form several local boutique wineries.
Our market is growing in strength and variety of foods. We have an increasing variety of organic foods:olive oil, lamb, beef, advocados, vegetables and citrus fruit in season, Yallingup Woodfired bread, goat sausages, honey. Free range eggs and chicken chorizo (only free range chicken chorizo in Australia!)
We also have several smaller wine yards do tastings and selling. Wonderful honey mead. Solar dried fruits, made tempeh and a lad doing great business with his homemade dog biscuits.
Our markets will run 27 June, 25 July, 22 August and 26 September. And Octocber through April on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month.
A delicious breakfast is available all morning. Topped with a locally roasted coffee.... it's a magical way to begin a Margaret River Saturday! A regular feature is our free raffle prize of a hamper of local products drawn at 11am each market day.
The Margaret River Farmers' Markets are 8am to 12pm at the historic old hospital site....which is on the corner of Tunbridge and Farrelly Streets.
