Sandalford Wines – Margaret River history is inextricably linked with the earliest developments of Western Australia's oldest and largest family owned wineries with the majority of their vines at their Margaret River location dating back to the original planting in 1970.
Their Margaret River Estate has been likened to Bordeaux with its generous winter rainfall, frost free spring, subdued summer temperatures and well-drained red brown loamy soils - ideal-growing conditions for international wine styles.
Located on Metricup Road, Wilyabrup, 260 kilometres south west of Perth, Sandalford has under vine 92 hectares of undulating land and soils and is regarded as amongst the best in the area, famous for its Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The Margaret River estate is a charming rustic rammed earth cellar, set amongst a beautiful country garden surrounded by deep vines and southwest bushland with barbecue and picnic area.
Open from 10am to 5pm daily offering a complete range of Sandalford Wines for sample and purchase with free delivery of a case of wine anywhere in Australia.
Local artists present their works within the emporium gift shop and for the wine enthusiast, a range of wine accessories and vintage stock is available.
