Join the Leukaemia Foundation on Wednesday 16th September at an inspiring annual event ‘Light the Night'. With two family friendly events held simultaneously in Western Australia; Foreshore Reserve, Riverside Drive in Perth and a regional event at Bicentennial Square in Bunbury, participants each receive a balloon containing a tiny light.
Gold balloons to remember a loved one lost, white balloons to celebrate being a blood cancer survivor and blue balloons to give hope for a brighter future through research.
The evening commences with on stage entertainment, fun for the kids and food vendors on site. Participants then Light the Night on a gentle 3.5km twilight walk. Light the Night also has a fundraising component to ensure ongoing support for patients and living with blood cancers such as leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma. Be seen in a good light.
