Each year local residents gather to commemorate Major Lockyer's Landing in Albany, the event is occurring on the 21 January 2010.
With a colourful parade of sailors, convicts and more proceeding down York Street, finishing with the actors re-enactment, official ceremony and cannon firing at the Residency Museum grounds the commemoration begins at 10am.
This event is unique to Albany and is one not to be missed if you're visiting the area.
