The Gilbert Wines vineyard is situated on high land in the northern sector of the Mount Barker wine region within the Great Southern of Western Australia.
Warm, dry conditions during summer assist in producing magnificent colour and intensity within their wines, whilst cool southerly afternoon breezes lengthen their ripening season and add finesse to the wine styles.
Gilberts planted their vineyard in 1985. The Gilbert property is well known for growing great produce. Apples and stone fruit were first planted here in the 1930's so we have a love of growing great flavours for you. The Gilbert wines are premium styles that reflect the character of this region. Clean, unspoilt with plenty of uniqueness. Distribution of the Gilbert label has grown to include interstate and international markets.
