Jingalla Wines is situated on the northern slopes of the Porongurup Range, 50 kilometers by road north of Albany in the Great Southern Region of Western Australia.

Jingalla is an aboriginal term meaning moon or crescent shape, which describes the shape of the property below the granite domes of the National Park. The vineyard consists of 9 hectares of vines; 2.4ha Cabernet Sauvignon, 2ha Shiraz, 1.5ha Semillon, 1.2ha Rhine Riesling, 0.8ha Geisenheim Riesling and 1ha Verdhello. It is planted on the steep northern slopes of the Porongurup Range, in deep, rich, granite loam. Being in a rural environment, only 40 kilometers from the sea, and adjacent to a National Park, the air is pure and fresh. At an elevation 450 metres above sea level, and because of the favourable prevailing winds, only minimal maintenance spraying is necessary. The average rainfall on these northern slopes is 840mm, mostly falling during the winter months, so fresh rainwater dams are used for irrigation during the growing season.

The vines produce approximately 50 tonnes of fruit per vintage, producing 4000 dozen bottles of premium wines.
