Peacetree Estate was established in 1995 in Wilyabrup, in the Margaret River wine region of Western Australia South West Coast, with the planting of 180 olives trees. Three generations of Tuckers; Jane and John, their sons Ben, Jake, Nathan, Sam and John's father, Neville, with his wife Joan, who were over for the Christmas holidays; planted the trees in one of the hottest Januarys in Western Australia's history with temperatures reaching 40 degrees Celsius.
The olives were upstaged by the planting of five acres of Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon cuttings from Amberley Estate, the following winter. Through the guidance and patience of local expert Barry Thompson the vineyard took shape
