Media release
After 27 years writing about wine, bestselling author, Jeremy Oliver is here to help in the drinking department. Over the years presenting, performing and spruiking about Australian wines, he has managed to pick up a few ideas about serving wine at celebrations and events, and is amply qualified to sort the wheat from the chaff in the wine department.
So, as a public service, Jeremy has compiled a list of the ten best Australian sparkling wines of the moment, straight from the 15th edition of his newly released and self published wine guide,The Australian Wine Annual 2012.
And the winners are...
- House of Arras (The), Arras Grand Vintage 2004, $70, 97/100 (Tasmania)
- Yarra Burn, Blanc de Blancs 2005, $45, 95/100 (Yarra Valley, Victoria)
